CARS24 serves as an all-in-one platform for automobile e-commerce and services.

designing for an all-in-one platform came with the risk of overwhelming users with too many features at once.

this could led to choice paralysis, increasing cognitive load and making it difficult for users to quickly locate the functionality they needed.

solution

there is a lot you can do, but how long does it take to find what you want to do?

adopting Miller’s law, we decided to limit the number of visible elements within a single frame to match users’ cognitive processing limits.

to reduce vertical overload, we implemented horizontal scrolling for dense feature areas- allowing users to scan quickly without getting lost.

design thinking

every company wants it all- functionality, speed, and performance of the app cannot be compromised for aesthetics of a space-inspired theme.

we used design to create an illusion of space and inter-galactic theme.
